Silver glue = You can't solder, Silver glue included
To use silver glue: Trim and bend diode leads to the size and position you need. Make sure the metal leads will not touch any other metal areas or components. Add a lump of glue to each place you want to connect the diode and also pre-coat the ends of the diode with more silver. Insert the diode into the glue and wait 24 hours. A slow fan or small heater on low setting will shorten dry time. Don't disturb it until it's dry. TIP: Add a little dot of glue somewhere harmless that you can poke with a toothpick to see when it's solid without having to disturb the diode to test it.
Diodes are polarity specific! Hooking them up backwards is bad. Make sure the black line is in the correct side!
