Metal snap domes require Deoxit Gold to clean and repair hard to press buttons
(Volume, Channel, Arrows, OK, Activities, Glow)
Do not use any other chemicals including other Deoxit colors! Anything but Deoxit gold will react with copper under micro imperfections in the gold plating. That causes a green goo to build up and makes the buttons fail rapidly. You need Deoxit Gold in liquid dropper, the pre-soaked swab cannot reach the buttons under the white sticker film. The film cannot be removed without damaging the LCD display. 

Because the Logitech Harmony 500 series remotes has a complete white film over the button contacts, no spacer sheet is needed. The 1.5mm thick light pipe plastic cannot be removed for repair because the LCD is soldered in and holding it in place. This also prevents the white sticker film from being peeled up to clean / repair metal snap dome switches.

3 weeks delivery

it took 3 weeks this time to arrive, slower than my previous order, but still work as a charm to revive an old defective remote

Harmony 520 repair

Main problem was the power button. Found the video very helpful especially on how the crack the case open and to move the LCD screen for better access. The repair kit worked a charm. This is the second time I’ve used one of your kits - excellent products. Thank you.
