The ButtonWorx™ membrane keypad permanently fixes the buttons by inserting a new keypad between the original buttons and the circuit board. New electrical contacts that never wear out like the rubber keypads do and it blocks any oil or dirt from causing problems in the future.
Compare the versions All are put in place. No peel and stick, these are not stickers.
Top: Repairs the buttons around the LCD only. You cannot later get just the lower buttons. In the future if you want to repair the other buttons a complete new keypad membrane would need to be ordered.
Full: Repairs all the rubber switch buttons. This does not include repairing the metal dome switches. The metal dome switches typically last much longer than rubber contact switches. Metal dome switches can be cleaned (after pulling up the sticker holding them down)
Gold: Repairs all the buttons. Like the Full version, all the rubber switches are repaired with ButtonWorx™ membrane and it also includes new gold plated metal dome switches. For this version you do need to remove the old metal domes and the white sticker holding them down. Just warm it with a hair dryer and peel it off. Some rare versions have the domes built into a loose sheet much like the ButtonWorx™ which does not stick down and the Gold version would simply replace that part of the original remote.
** Did a pet rabbit eat a remote button? ButtonWorx can't replace missing buttons but sending your remote in for button repair with "Professional Installation" option may be a solution. As long as you don't care too much what the buttons look like (they will be pulled from parts remotes) a few buttons can be replaced (subject to availability). If your remote is missing more than a few buttons please contact us with photos first.

This remote has been plaguing me for years making me click the buttons around the screen innumerable amounts of times until it finally registers. Now it works as good or better as the first day. Arrived to Germany in about two weeks and with such a low price I really couldn't be happier! Feels like a steal honestly. Tutorial video is great and helped me open it and clean it up too!
Installation is so simple I didn't even find the extensive and detailed printed out instructions with pictures that came with the order until I began cleaning up my desk after reassembling the remote.
Will order again if the rest of my buttons start acting up!

Kinda worked
Could not get the device button,bottom row middle, to work. Cut bottom off and other ones work well. They were the problem anyway.

Hi, sorry to hear about the problem. The bottom buttons have rows of added dots for the height. It's a small clear sticker with 3 dots connected by a skinny leg. It sounds like the center one may have come loose.

The envelope arrived 7 days after the email with the photo. Works like a charm. The only difficult things were to get IPA in Germany (Amazon worked) and to find a suitable screwdriver (really small/pointed).

The top button repair pad worked perfectly.
Instructions were clear and simple in the video and took 10 mins to complete.
Mailing to Singapore was quick and arrived in 6 business days. I might suggest soome kind of stiffener in the mailing envelope. The envelope was a bit mangled, but thankfully the repair pad was at the other end of the envelope.
I HIGHLY recommend the product - it gave me back my beloved Harmony 700 with top buttons working better than when it was new!
