Are you pushing down as hard as you can on your pool controller buttons just to turn on the spa, lights, or heater? Over time, the factory rubber buttons fail because the original conductive padding wears out, leaking silicone oils onto the underlying circuit board. This creates a gooey, non-conductive film that stops your commands from registering.
Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on an entirely new local display board (GLX-PL-LOC-P-4), the ButtonWorx™ Membrane Repair Kit permanently restores crisp, effortless button response in minutes.
Engineered to Last: Tested over 1 million button presses—built to outlast the remaining life of your pool automation system.
Oil & Dirt Barrier: Physically blocks future silicone oil leaks and dirt from ever contaminating the circuit board again.
No Messy Glues or Paints: Forget conductive paints, inks, or glues that eventually crack, chip, and flake off into your electronics.
Peel-and-Stick DIY Installation: No soldering or advanced technical skills required. Simply clean the board, peel off the backing, align, and stick the membrane down.
This repair membrane is custom-cut for the Hayward / Goldline ProLogic and AquaLogic local display keypads, commonly found on:
Models: AquaLogic & ProLogic PS4, PS8, and PS16
Common Board Part Numbers: GLX-PL-LOC-P-4 (and matching G1-066009 series display boards)
Open the Housing: Disconnect power and open your main control panel to access the local display board.
Clean the Board: Wipe down the gold circuit board button contacts using isopropyl alcohol to remove all old sticky oils and dirt.
Peel & Stick: Peel the protective backing off the ButtonWorx™ membrane. Align it over the carbon button layout on the circuit board and press down firmly.
Reassemble: Put the display module back together. Your buttons will now click and trigger with a gentle touch!
⚠️ Important Diagnostic Note: This kit permanently fixes hard-to-press or completely unresponsive individual buttons. If all of your buttons stopped working simultaneously, or if your LCD screen is completely blank/corrupted, the issue is likely a failed main board transformer or display chip, which a button membrane cannot fix.
