Letter Envelope USA
Letter mail in the USA can take 3 days or 3 weeks, sometimes more.
Do you really need it ASAP? Then don't select letter mail.
If you can wait, letter mail is the best option. Everyone will get their order eventually
It seems to completely depend on your local postal delivery. Usually letter mail will reach your local area (east or west coast, doesn't matter) in just a few days but then it can take much longer to be distributed and delivered. If there is a problem with the address or any error occurs that requires a human to get involved then the delays can be very long. Mid Nov to mid Jan can be very slow OR they can show up faster than packages in some cases!? Most letter mail takes less than a week but it's impossible to predict. If there are delays, the order cannot be tracked or intercepted. It is far more likely for an envelope that is still undelivered after 3 weeks to be delayed (and eventually be delivered) rather than lost, unless there is an error in the address, missing information, etc...

First Class Mail Package
Package mail has better tracking than envelopes and includes true pickup and delivery updates. While letter mail is usually quick, if you really NEED the order soon package mail may be a better choice
Priority Mail
Priority mail is about 1 day faster than package mail for east coast and 2-4 days faster for west coast. Priority mail is less likely to have mysterious delays and they pickup and deliver on weekends including Sunday so that can speed it up another day if you get it on Sunday instead of Monday.
UPS Ground
I don't recommend UPS ground for small light orders but some customers have a lot of trouble with US Mail. I'd estimate Priority mail having a 99.5% success rate where UPS Ground would be 99.7% (not enough of an improvement to justify the additional time and cost) For larger packages (too big to fit in an envelope) UPS ground can be a good choice. For speed, the main problem is that they don't collect from drop off points on the weekends and I get very few orders selecting UPS so I am not always able to ship them as quickly as US Mail orders.
