Permanently repairs rubber keypad buttons by adding a new layer of conductive material.
Your buttons fails when the conductive pad wears out and silicone oils seep from the keypad. This gooey paste blocks electrical conductivity and stops the switch from working. The ButtonWorx membrane keypad blocks dirt and oil from reaching the circuit board and offers a new conductor that cannot break down like rubber conductors do.
Note: This is for repairing hard to press buttons. If all your buttons stopped working one day, then the remote is broken (not the buttons) and needs repair

IMPORTANT: CLEAN THE CIRCUIT BOARD WITH ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL
Install the ButtonWorx™ repair membrane FLAT FLAT FLAT. There is no need to make sure it is stuck down. Do Not press down on the button areas. That can cause buttons to cave in creating a permanent short circuit. Just place it down using the holes for alignment. If it needs to be repositioned you can remove it and try again.

I’ll keep this short. This product is ingenious… bravo! I originally cleaned up my poor & non- functioning adjustable bed frame remotes, and then bought some keypad fix metallic paint. Even though it said it works on rubberized keypads, it did NOT!! But think about, what paint works well on rubberized keypads. This Buttonworx repair substrate fits like a glove and completely redesigns how the remote works so now - it is fixed perfectly and forever!! Thank you for the review! It blows my mind that they claim laboratory tested to 2 million keystrokes. Even if the test was designed to press slow and light to maximize longevity I can't see that stuff lasting more than 200. I've tried far better stuff from Loctite that isn't available to consumers, cost $100 a bottle, had a short shelf life and that couldn't even make it past a year of regular use. I tried it all, had so many warranty repairs sent back for button problems and nothing worked reliably for more than a year. That's why I came up with ButtonWorx.

Instructions are good
I ordered the product, but didn't get to used it. I was about to replace the membrane in my remote and was reading the instructions. The first thing it says is make sure the circuit board is clean and dry. After doing that my remote worked, so I didn't need to change the membrane. The instruction were worth the price and I know have a back up.

Hi, cleaning alone is temporary. How long is hard to predict but it's usually measured in weeks or months and with each cleaning the length will be cut in half.
