ButtonWorx™ Membrane Repair Pad

1. Check part for fit and make any modifications needed
2. Clean circuit board using 90% Isopropyl alcohol or equivalent 
3. Peel off brown paper liner and attach repair pad to the circuit board
   Do not attach to rubber
   Apply gently without a lot of pressure. Part should be flat as possible!
4. re-assemble and test

I've always used CaiKote to repair rubber membrane keyboards on our
alarm panels and TV remotes.  The repair works well, but it only lasts a
year before the paint flakes off again.  The CaiKote product is
expensive and can be messy to apply, so I was gratified when a Google
search turned up the ButtonWorx product.  I bought the individual 7mm
buttons to repair this Moose alarm horizontal panel, but I'll try the
MOOSE Z1100 repair kit on the vertical alarm panel.  The individual
buttons applied very easily, and the repair went quickly.  The repair is
working beautifully.  The buttons have a wonderful tactile feel.  I was
worried my wife would eventually crack the alarm panel PCB by pressing
the buttons too hard. Thanks for creating this extremely useful
and fairly-priced product.
